There was this day whereby we went tampines mall to eat after initiation day and a campaign was going at level three. What i heard and see later is so heartbreaking and frustrating.
There was a fake bear that looked real in a cage with a hole punctured into its stomach and there were some coagulated liquid flowing out from that hole. In front of the cage had a sign that says 'They wished they weren't alive'. Also, there was this groaning sound that came from the cage that i didnt know what was it at first.
A lady came forward and informed us what was this all about.
This poor bears had been captured by the people in china and held captive in small cages that they can bearly move. The china people will poke a hole into their stomach or wherever they can get BILE out of these bears. The bears resort to banging their heads against the metal bars to ease the monotony.

And now to the groaning sound we were later informed that it is actually LIVE RECORDING of the bears crying out. 
It was really painful to stand there listening to it and it truly breaks the heart. What is worse is that this operation of getting BILE outta these bears will last for 10-15 years per bear!!! Now i understand why they rather wished they were dead!
Which human in their right mind would do such an inhuman act to a living thing. Oh yes there are such people as you can see.
There are actually 54 herbal alternatives to bear BILE when it comes to Traditional Chinese Medicine !!

What im doing is trying to increase awareness in this matter as suggested by the volunteer at the campaign. They are open to donations too but i think what is more impt is to let more people know about that there is such a thing happening in other parts of the world as well.
If there is no demand, there will not be any supply.
