okay. getting complains like 'why is it still im so hungry?!?' you know how fierce some ppl can get. tsk tsk. you know who yall are. haha!...Sentosa 120908
sentosa again!
not to the beach though.
fei zai brought me on a sentosa trip that was memorable, fun and deeply appreciated by me.
first stop, cable car tower! checked with popo and i did sat on a cable car when i was really little and so it was like a decade later im on it again!! yay. haha.our destination for the day is ...Underwater World ! had to take a bus from where we alighted from the cable car to the underwater world.since we werent in a hurry, we took the longer route to enjoy the scenery and each other's company :)
there were many things to see before going into the real thing -underwater world.a gift shop and other attractions of sentosa along the way.we saw indian men with baskets saying "python python!" like you pay $8 to wrap that thing around your neck or wherever you dare and take a polaroid picture. how cool is that? a indian man using polaroid camera. hahaha... :xi mean indian man with python.large turtles could be seen in a large tank near to underwater world.upon reaching the inside of UNDERWATER WORLD, there's a Touch Pool whereby people were allowed to touch the fishes, baby sharks, and starfishes which were in the water.took a picture holding the starfish above water level, only to realise it's not supposed to. haha. poor starfish.
free phototaking service was also provided.haha. how thoughful of them.there were fishes; sting rays, sharks, thick lipped-blue fish aka 'nigga fish', etc, crabs, sea angels, jelly fishes, fossils, unique looking sea horses, and most importantly, there was a DUGONG! pictures were taken and i simply love the whole experience. :)
love it when the lights changes to pink coz those jellyfishes will look super pinky and it was amazing beautiful. to me at least. haha.

and yea. that round fat thing there is a dugong!! haha. it is said that it used to be often mistaken for a mermaid by sea men in the past. how cool is that. sucha fat mermaid.
at this point, i realised i did not include photo of the tube thing.
the main attraction is the one whereby ppl can just walk or stand still to look at fishes swim around. -_-
anyway, it's okay. oh ya, the ticket for underwater world is a ONE time entry only.
so if you are interested in seeing all the hourly feeding exhibition, you have to stay inside for about half a day else once you go out, you cannot come in anymore!
devastating. i know.
the ticket includes of a dolphin show at The Dolphin Lagoon. or is it The Dolphin Place.
i really cant remember. haha.
.
i am actually quite against the idea of watching live animal shows/zoo performance/circus performances coz i know that animals get tortured i mean they are being strictly trained for shows.
so the no-demand-no-supply theory applies here again.
.
and and and, i remember signing a petition against pink dolphins performing and having close contact with human when i was still in secondary school.
.
the show was about the 3 dolphins going around in circles, doing some synchronised swimming, going up the wooden plank, going real high into the sky.
the sweetest part was when they 'kissed' the 3 lucky audiences who went into the water to touch them and get kissed.
.
when the show was over, you got a choice to pay $15/$20 to touch and take a picture with the dolphin or go off in which the majority did.
now this entry is a really long one.
.
let me end this off with saying that i had a really good time and at the end of the day, it's the company that matters most.
sharing moments of life with that special someone makes it all worthwhile.
God Bless All
